Lila Voci, 8th grade

Here at Saint Brendan, we have been back to school for over a month already! So much has happened in this short amount of time and many events are approaching in the near future. Every student wore a smile on the first day of school, August 23rd. Since then, the students here at Saint Brendan have been active in studies, service, and sports.

It is the time of year again when the eighth grade begins looking towards their bright futures in high school. Eighth-grade students are now preparing for standardized testing and high school applications and are working hard to prepare for the exciting months ahead.

Fall sports have just begun, but student-athletes here at Saint Brendan are already practicing hard. The fall sports this year include junior varsity and varsity flag football, varsity girls volleyball, and cross country. The athletes here at SBS are dedicating time to athletics and are working hard in preparation for their upcoming games and meets!

Students in the eighth-grade class now volunteer their Friday afternoons to tutor the children at Santa Teresita Elementary School. The seventh graders are also volunteering at Alexandria House.

Saint Brendan school has had a great start to the year.
